Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The cottage is fantastic and the welcome pack was a fab addition, really tidy and neat and well stocked for cooking utensils and cooking supplies and lovely bedrooms. Out of the way as we wanted but close enough to walk to the Pub and Tea room nearby when the fancy took us. The location is brilliant with plenty of walks nearby such as Derwent reservoir and the nearby Hexham is great for shops and easy to do a day trips to Newcastle via Train or Durham. Plenty more for us to see, so will definitely be back

Negative: Only thing to note was the weather can be impactful we got caught leaving in Storm Arwen and the roads were quite awkward and dangerous due to the snow. Not a fault of owners or the cottages more just for awareness so you plan ahead, as due to road closures and snow on the roads was an eventful journey back. The cottage though was fab despite snow and 80mph winds stayed warm all night.

Summary: Brilliant, just what we wanted to relax and enjoy the local sites will definitely be coming back
