Positive: The laundry machine accessible at all times at no further cost was very valuable to me. Wi-Fi was good. Transportation was limited, considering it was likely one of the biggest events of the century with maha kumbha. Overall, I would say, and I looked at over 100 places. I am glad to have found this one. The bed is not comfortable unfortunately has basically no mattress. It’s almost like sleeping on the wood the balcony at the top to dry your clothes is perfect. The shower is perfect. The bathroom is also perfect. The people inside the homestay where extremely valuable you probably need an Indian SIM to get the best out of this place including ordering food with Zomato. I didn’t have these things so going to civil lines, which is basically downtown where good restaurants can be found is somewhat difficult from here, and if you don’t speak, the language during the Makumba transport is very limited so expect to walk. I enjoyed a lot in the stay. I didn’t use the food system. They offered me because I thought it was a bit excessive. I don’t like to bother people every meal asked them to order food for me was too much so I think overall in the town for foreigners there isn’t that much Food choices and I mean in the entire town. This is truly a pilgrimage town, the full sense of the word I think it’s meant to be difficult, but overall staying at that place was more than I bargained for. I saw some other places that were extremely expensive considering the time of the year There was also another guy staying at the homestay who had been there for like two weeks. I don’t doubt it in the slightest that he was happy where he was I strongly suggest anyone coming to the town to not rent a car because driving here will be extremely difficult, particularly for foreigners and I’ll be ready to use the motorcycles and the rickshack.
