Positive: We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Maki, I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the incredible hosts. Marko and his family were so welcoming, we really couldn't have asked for more. They had arranged for us to have water, milk, wine and a beautiful platter of meats and cheeses when we arrived, as the shops were shut on Sundays. During the stay they brought us the best pancakes we've ever had and some incredible pita, a local dish. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming they were throughout our stay. The property itself is fantastic, the views are beautiful, the pool is great, and cleaned every morning by the owners. The villa has so much space and is immaculately clean, it's very well equipped, and feels like staying in a luxury hotel but with the benefit of having the whole place to yourself. There is also a gym, with running machine, weights and an incredible view! We have stayed in a number of villas, apartments and hotels over the years in Montenegro and this was absolutely our favourite and we will certainly be returning soon!
