Positive: From start to finish, the experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff went above and beyond in every way and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The lodge itself is built to an incredible specification, with real thought put into every detail. There were so many little touches that made a big difference — everything from the basics like toothbrushes and toothpaste, right through to beers and wine left for us to enjoy. It instantly felt like a home away from home, but better. The scenery is simply out of this world. The peace and silence are phenomenal — the kind you don’t realise you’ve been missing until you’re surrounded by it. The sauna and outdoor hot tub are an absolute must and take the whole experience to another level. We were also fortunate enough to meet the owner, who was staying over the Christmas holidays. A genuinely fantastic bloke who came over for a chat while we sat outside enjoying the log fire we’d made — one of those moments you don’t forget. Overall, an amazing experience from beginning to end. We couldn’t fault it and would absolutely return without hesitation.
