It has a bedroom with a queen sized bed (160 x 190 cm) down duvets and fine linens, private bathroom with shower, and a living room/kitchen with an additional sofabed ( 110x190cm) and dining table. The Mediterranean style apartment is carefully decorated and equipped with all amenities. A breeze from the Panecillo hill provides fresh mountain air and you sit outside on your terrace,surrounded by flowers and enjoy the sunny Ecuadorian climate. A contemporary wood burning stove provides warm comfort at night. An ample common area with gazebo, hammocks and BBQ invites to interact with other guests in our condo.

Summary: Wantara is a little haven in the city--- unique gardens, tastefully designed apartments (they thought of everything---including really comfy down pillows and duvets), and a good location with easy access to historic Quito. But the real treasures are the hosts. Both Wolfgang and Yannick were not only hosts but instant friends looking our for us---there to help navigate the city and give us great advice about how to best spend our time. Yannick gave us his WhatsApp and more than once helped get us out of a pickle created out of naive traveler mistakes. He patiently spent half a day with us, untangling a mess...! And then told us we could contact him about any advice throughout the rest of our trip around Ecuador. Amazing! We call him Saint Yannick! I would recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely stay here if I come back to Quito.
