Positive: This is a house which looks like it has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It has everything you would want for a stay and it is immaculate. We wished we could have stayed longer just to relax and take advantage of the peaceful setting. We are a couple but the house could easily cater to a family or two couples. The house has no steps to negotiate but it is at the bottom of a road with a medium slope, all paved but a bit of a trek with luggage. Not a problem for us but anyone with lots of luggage or mobility problems should take a taxi. There are plenty near the station. We liked the fact the house was peaceful because it was not in the centre of town but within walking distance. The area is famous for the Hakone Loop and it is an absolute must do.
Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable stay in an immaculate house with everything you could want for self catering.
