Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The host was very nice and caring, upon arrival he got food for us and was open to communicate. He gave us suggestions to how we should proceed with our journey. He even offered to call a driver to take us to Sipi falls, but we chose to do it via public transport. Upon returning to the gardens, we were greeted with home cooked dinner, which was delicious. We felt very welcome and safe.

Negative: The location shown on booking is not the right one. The gardens are actually situated quite far from the center of Mbale, that was something that threw us off at first. But then we embraced the experience of living in a village and we had a great time. The location is shown in the picture.
