In terms of leisure activities, there's no shortage of museums, including Kelonia (for turtles), Stella Matutina (for sugar) and Le Musé du Sel (for salt).
You can choose between paragliding, underwater activities (diving, snorkeling), water sports (jet-skiing, parasailing, etc.) and surfing spots (La Tortue, La Gauche de Saint-Leu).
The area is restful, and the sunsets, hawksbills and whales (between June and September) are a constant spectacle.
