Summary: A lovely stay in all respects - the pool and outside area are magnificent - except the most critical one: sleep (also, be aware that basic rooms are very small). Despite it being 22 degrees in October, we later discovered the hotel had decided it was no longer summer so aircon had been replaced with heating - but guests didn’t know, so we set it at 21 degrees, didn’t open a window and it was too hot and stuffy to sleep well. This spoiled an otherwise great experience. What a shame.
