Summary: We checked in at the bar after reception closed, they were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the space, it has been renovated with care. We had the farm room and I really enjoyed the aesthetic. The beds were freshly made, I did notice it was a bit dusty here and there but it was definitely clean. The weather was too hot to enjoy the spa facilities on the top floor, the relaxation room by itself was like a sauna, I can imagine it being lovely in the winter. The restaurant food was good, and we appreciated the guest cards and used them for a day trip to Titisee. Excellent location and base for visiting the local areas. It was very quiet at night and we slept well as they had provided two fans in our room, but the rooms stayed fairly cool anyway as the walls are thick stone.
