Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Friendly, welcoming hosts, clean, modern, comfy bed, good lighting, screened windows, comfy hammocks, central location, nice big spacious common area and kitchen, great views from the hill.

Negative: The reception area is located in the same space as the common area and kitchen. This area faces the rooms. As such it was often noisy (not because of other guests). Also, the common area is pretty much a hangout for the family. So it was like being in their living room. Guests stayed by their rooms so it wasn’t as social a space. The power was off for one full day. No air, WiFi, lights, etc. I think the rates are overpriced for low/rainy season. You’re not necessarily going to get what you pay for. Of note for the owners…the hinges of the bathroom door where I stayed needs to be oiled.
