This quietly situated house is made for those seeking peace and quiet. You can relax here and experience nature in the mountains. This holiday accommodation is on a former farm. It was renovated in an old style and fitted with modern amenities. It provides comfortable accommodation for couples and small families who would like to try something else. You can enjoy the outdoors here and get away from the stress of everyday life.

The living space of ca. 55m² comprises a living room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. All the rooms are on one level. The living room has a sitting corner by the open fireplace, a dining table, a stereo system, a CD and DVD player. The kitchen includes a fridge with a freezer compartment, gas stove, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The living room opens directly onto the large terrace, affording a good view over the fields and the forested mountains. One of the two bedrooms is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm), bedside tables, lamps, a wardrobe and a mirror, the other is a children’s room, accessed through the first bedroom, with a bunk bed (95 x 180cm below and 85 x 195cm above). The rustic bathroom with old wooden elements has a large walk-in shower, a washbasin with a mirror, a toilet and a window.

You can enjoy a wonderful view of the Slovak flat land from the terrace. Free wireless Internet access is available in the living room and on the terrace. It is possible to make a campfire in the orchard behind the farm. There is a playing area for children. You can park your car by the house.

Pets can be brought free of charge. The owners can lend you a navigation device for a fee, which you can use for hiking or cycling routes. You can also borrow a bicycle for a fee. The owner offers a bread rolls delivery service at a supplementary charge, in which case these are baked for you when ordered in advance. There is a washing machine in a room on the farm that you can use for a fee.

You can do everyday shopping in the village shop. You can also buy various farm products locally, such as eggs, fresh milk, cheese, homemade jam and honey. It is 10km to a small supermarket. For larger shopping trips, you can go to towns such as Zvolen (30km) and Banska Bytrica (50km). Both towns have cosy squares and restaurants. In Pliesovce, about 11km away, there is a bowling alley. Another trip destination is e.g. the old mining town Banska Stiavnica about 45km away. There is plenty to see and do in the region. The owner is happy to help with planning trips. Sometimes organised activities can be offered, enquire in advance with the owner.
