Summary: I booked this room with no notice when it became painfully apparent that my son and I could not continue staying with my parents (bathrooms accessible only through a bedroom should not exist.) The mattress took up about 1/3 of the floor, I think it was a queen and we slept great on it. No dresser or closet, but there was a shelving unit and hooks with a handful of hangers. The bathroom was a typical Korean setup - no separate shower/bath and drain on the floor - but the toilet was thoughtfully curtained off so that it and the towels wouldn’t get wet. Don’t worry, they give you bathroom slippers and the wet floor magically dries overnight. The staff came in every day to make our bed, refill the filtered water, and replace the towels.
Loved the property, a traditional Korean hanok home converted into a lodge. Through the building entrance, you walk into a small courtyard with a tree and some seating. You take off your shoes before going through the door to the checkin desk; there are lockers for the shoes and it’s actually very nice to walk through the hallways and common spaces without worrying about tracking in dirt. There are rooms with traditional mats and tea tables and floor seating; I think it was a tea house during the day. The place was 50 ft away from the busy food street and around the corner from a famous samgetang restaurant. Our host Cathie was lovely and super helpful and spoke English. And always accessible and responsive on WhatsApp. We loved our stay here!

Summary: The property is well located has a nice small front garden, easily to walk around and to use transport. Lots of good and famous restaurants so hard to decide where to eat. The room that i stayed was small but had private bathroom also provided shampoo, conditioner towels. I definitely recommend to friends and massive thanks to mr Hans the property owner for being so kind and helpful.

Summary: Excellent location from airport bus stop, public buses and subway. Suggestion book covers a lot. Great price for a private room with own bathroom. Bathroom sink is a bit small for washing the face, but location can't be beat!

Summary: Very friendly and helpful staff. Well situated in a central area with many places to eat nearby. Remember that it is a traditional Korean arrangement - ie a futon mattress on the floor with blankets rather than sheets, thin walls, and windows above head height. My bedroom door had windows in it - I would like to suggest curtains on the doors to stop the light outside coming in.

Summary: The staff is super friendly. She helped us book taxi via Kakao apps. The taxi driver canceled the booking, she walk (some distance from Hanok) and come and help us rebook another taxi. She wait with us until the taxi come. She can speak English. Quiet but very helpful staff. Appreciate her help!

Summary: It is a sweet room and a nice garden. The bed was really nice and clean. The lights are romantic. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately there were other guests loud and you heard them speaking. And the front door is really loud. The location is something exceptional.

Summary: Gorgeous little traditional Korean style place to stay - nothing fancy, but very comfortable and perfectly located for seeing loads of sights in Seoul as well as for taking the airport bus. Staff very helpful, friendly and trusting. Loved sitting out in the courtyard as the sun set.

Summary: A very charming 200 years old renovated hanok. Located ideally close to a metro station et some of the hottest touristic spots (royal palaces). The area is really pleasant and there are lots of restaurants around. The staff is very nice, welcoming and ready to help you. The room was a litlle small (but no surprise it was specfied when I booked the room) but comfortable.

Summary: Wanted to stay in a cool area of Seoul and get away from the concrete jungle areas and business hotels . This place is a wee gem - tiny and mattress on floor job- but very quiet and a great nights sleep . Owner is very cool and helpful - and place is very peaceful and tastefully decorated. Best of all though is the areas - small streets - fantastic wee bars and restaurants, Vinylrecord bars - amazing local food and also great tapas and pizza place nearby . Bus to airport is 100m away and also subway . So if you after something different and real - this place is my choice !
