Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Gorgeous location and it was nice to be able to go for long walks around the property. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the game drive was fun. My husband enjoyed a round of golf on the 9-hole course. Saw a giraffe and lots of zebra, impala, nyala, waterbuck and wildebeest.

Negative: The restaurant is quite expensive compared to similar (perhaps better) restaurants in nearby Blantyre. We were told the day we arrived that they had run out of coffee, but they don’t do shopping until Monday, so we had no coffee for the entire stay (only instant sachets).

Summary: A nice hotel in a great location. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
