Boasting gorgeous views across the surrounding countryside, the spacious open plan dining area, kitchen and sitting room features exposed beamed ceilings, bespoke kitchen units, an Aga (which is turned off during the summer), electric oven and hob, and a roaring wood burning stove in the large fireplace. Two ground floor bedrooms hosts charming antique beds, each with the added luxury of an en suite shower room. Upstairs on the first floor, two further bedrooms ( a double and a twin) enjoy views over the garden and surrounding countryside, with one the twin room boasting a Juliet balcony. The family bathroom on this floor offers a freestanding bath.
Stepping outside, chickens roam freely around the large, mature garden. A fire pit area, barbecue, pretty pergola, and paved terrace with superb views all combine to make this area a delightful place to be. Five Acres welcomes up to two dogs, however, please be aware, although the garden is enclosed, the fence is low and a determined dog may be able to escape! An EV charger and secure bike storage is also available on site.
Situated a few miles outside the village of Boltby, you are only a short drive to Sutton Bank, which was the favourite view of James Herriot, the famous Yorkshire Vet. Accommodating up to eight guests, Five Acres is ideal for bringing the whole family together, or spending some precious time away with friends.
