It is centrally located: in close proximity to Ringstrasse, City Hall, University, Museumsquartier, Museum of Art History and Natural History, Burgtheater, Volkstheater, Josefstädtertheater. The City Hall with its many events, the City Hall Park, the Parliament are within sight. It is only a few minutes to Karlsplatz, the opera and Stephansplatz, to the parks on Ringstrasse. While the U2 is being rebuilt, the tram line 2 (vis a vis the house) is the next means of transport. In addition, there are Bus 13A, all Ring lines and the U3, Volkstheater station. In the immediate vicinity you will find 3 supermarkets (standard/ superior/ organic), 2 traditional Viennese coffee houses, Viennese Beisln (traditional restaurants), excellent Viennese and international restaurants, original small boutiques. It is only a stone's throw to the biggest Viennese shopping streets (Kärtnerstrasse and Mariahilferstrasse). Josefstädterstrasse, nearby Burggasse and Neubaugasse are among the traditionally popular shopping streets with special charm. The whole eighth district has specific Viennese charm to offer.
