The property is a duplex penthouse on the 12th floor. While the host family live on the entrance floor, you will have the entire top floor. On the top floor, in addition to two luxurious bedrooms, you will also have a spacious and bright living room, a modern bathroom, rocking chair balcony, running machine and an open terrace garden. In this quaint garden, you can enjoy the Chinese garden style rockery and fish pond, you can also play with the gold fish, or you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, and pick a book from the bookshelf, enjoying your solitary time. Or perhaps you would like to do nothing, just sitting here and enjoying the panoramic view of Guiyang.
You have access to the entire top floor. You will enter the property from the entrance floor, and you also have access to the dinning room, living room and balcony on the entrance floor. (Please note that AC with cooling and heating functions is only available in the Luxury King Bed Room.)

Overview
Chinese Garden Penthouse is in Hunan Province, which is where Chairman Mao came from. It is in southern Hunan, more specifically, in Guiyang, the
hometown of the Hero Ouyang Hai, who sacrificed his life for saving others from an incoming train, and passed away at 23. He was recognized as one of the “100 Heroes moving New China”. To commemorate Hero Ouyang Hai, Guiyang government has named the largest leisure square and the longest street crossing the whole town as Ouyang Hai Square and Ouyang Hai Avenue. Our Chinese Garden Penthouse is just located in this avenue, adjacent to Ouyang Hai Square. It is conveniently located right in the town center, with restaurants, shopping and sightseeing all around, and only a short 20-minute taxi ride away from the fast train station in the city of Chenzhou. Pick-up service is available upon request.
Speaking of food, Hunan is well known for its spicy cuisine, and you can taste plenty of it for very reasonable prices. But if you don't like spicy food, don't worry, there are many options available and we can even help you with some home made meals upon request.
Guiyang is also the hometown of Cai Lun, who is the inventor of ancient papermaking, one of the four inventions of ancient China. Cai Lun is honorably regarded as "paper saint". Now the Cai Lun Well can still be found in the south of Guiyang, and the paper basin engraved with "Cai Lun home" is still present. For more Guiyang celebrity stories, please visit the grand new Guiyang Cultural Park, which is within 10 minutes walking distance from our penthouse. Moreover, just next door to our penthouse there is also Jade Park, another green spot where you can take a walk, meditate or watch the locals play and grab a bite of tasty street food.
You can take excursions to Yangshan ancient village, or many other original ecological villages and farms. Before mass tourism arrives in this little Chinese town, please come to Chinese Garden Penthouse: it will appeal to the curious traveler with a fine taste.

The closest international airports are in Guangzhou or Changsha.

1. take a taxi, or a maglev train, or a shuttle bus to Changsha Nan (South) Train station

3. Take a taxi to Guiyang ((Pick-up service can be arranged with extra charge about CNY 260).
If you fly into Guangzhou (Canton) airport:
1. Take a taxi, or subway to Guangzhou Nan (South) Station;
2. Take a fast train to Chenzhou West Station;
