Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We are frequent travelers and are visiting Belgrade at least once per year. The building is new (from about Feb 2024). The location of the premises fits our needs well. Small supermarkets are available in close distance, a large on is available in 10-12 minutes walk in hotel Zira, an excellent bakery is about 200m away. There is even a good cafe in the building. Sleep quality is excellent - comfortable mattresses and silence. Cleanliness is good. The apartment is built with high quality materials and the kitchen is comfortable and well equipped. The internet was good enough, though we did not have the time to check anything on the TV. The apartment was surprisingly warm, and we needed to even turn off the heating, even though it was end of January. The host is very cooperative and easy to find. In short - the place was among the best in Belgrade we have been so far and we will definitely consider the place as top pick for the next time.

Negative: This may not bother many, but it is worth noting. When in Belgrade, we have to come in and out to the apartment multiple times for the day and our work there requires that we use car 90% of the time. Hence it is essential that parking is available and guaranteed, even at an added cost (parking on the street could easily take 20 minutes, which we rarely could afford due to our schedule). Our car is a mid-size SUV and the pictures imply parking is in the open area, while actually it is required to use car elevator (entering it requires maneuvering too), maneuver in narrow corridors, and then put the car on the second floor on an electric ramp, praying you will not meet a neighbour entering or leaving the parking. This is far from ideal to load or unload stuff from the car, takes time and introduces undesired danger of scratching the car. Using such a parking place would be a deal-breaker to us. Thanks to the host we got allowed to use one of few common places in the outside, but about 50% of the time there was no free place and we had to find a parking on the street. It is positive that we got a discount in the price, though we picked the place for the location and parking at first place. Also, there is strong cigarette smell in the entrance and the floors, until you reach the apartment, that may bother some, but the apartment itself does not have this issue inside.
