This original fifties coastal weekender has been lovingly restored with both modern and vintage elements, providing a rustic and romantic setting for you to write your own story, to spin yarns, and tell tales. These walls have been keeping secrets for sixty years; tales of fishing, boating, family holidays and of the local beekeeper selling honey from the shed. Writers Loft is part of the larger story of the coast, of the south, of stars and trees and water. Where will I be?
Writers Loft is located in the sleepy coastal village of Erowal Bay on beautiful St Georges Basin. Erowal Bay is perfect for walking, playing tennis or relaxing in the sleepy village atmosphere surrounded by wildlife. Waterskiing, fishing, canoeing and windsurfing are just some of the activities to be enjoyed on St George's Basin. There is a boat ramp and the local store provides takeaway food, petrol, alcohol and groceries.

Writers Loft is a sun-drenched loft-style beach house, providing the perfect getaway for a couple or sole traveller. It is decorated in a neutral palette and natural textures, with whitewashed floors and plantation shutters. This luxurious yet comfortable retreat brings together the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living. French doors lead from the light-filled
open-plan interior onto a lush outdoor deck with lounge and Weber BBQ. The bedroom is a calm, stylish and beautiful space with touches of luxury such as pure linen sheets, bed canopy and chandelier. The barn door leads from the bedroom into a
spacious bathroom with a large bathtub, shower and original concrete laundry sink. There is also a laundry containing a second shower and toilet.

Writers Loft is a pet friendly property and is fully fenced. Guests must advise they will be bringing pets at the time of booking. Please also respect the following rules in relation to pets:
Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house. Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or on beds/ Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately. Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
