On the 16 m² site there are a variety of animal and plant species, in the brown coal museum you can learn how the hard life was in the shanty town during the 2nd World War and in the years after. The city of Herning is about 15 min. drive from the house, here are countless opportunities for activities, for example in "Boxen" or Messecenter Herning. Baboon City is a great playground for children, the city center offers many stores and restaurants. DGI Byen has a nice wellness department. Go to the cinema, which is located across from the train station. It is also not far from the cottage to well-known attractions such as Legoland, Givskud Zoo and Jyllands Park Zoo with over 500 animals and birds from all over the world.
