Built in 2015. 30 min. drive to Girdwood / Alyeska, Alaska’s biggest ski resort. The home is 10 minutes from a board walk for bird watching next to turnagain arm. Also we are minutes away from some great hiking trails such as Flat top mountain, Anchorages most popular hiking trail, Beautiful bird ridge, another beautiful mountain hike above Cook Inlet. McHugh Creek and further south to Seward sea life center for a day trip. See all of Alaska’s sea life. Always beautiful sight seeing along the way through Turnagain pass . Seward has Mount Marathon on the 4th of July one of the premier mountain races in the world.
February 28th-March 8th is Anchorage Fur Rendezvous with the start of the Iditarod sled dog race.
