Positive: The Loft is a really nice house for holidays! It was great to have breakfast outside in the garden, to have the whole space for ourselves.

Negative: To be honest there were some things, that felt disturbing. The sink from the shower in the first floor was complety closed, so it was more a bath than a shower. The soap dispensers on both floors were not clean, it looks like there was soap left from over the years and a lot rust in addition. The kitchen utensils like a pan or a board to cut also looked a long time used and maybe it would be helpful to have sometimes two utensils of one type. All these things weren’t not that terrible. But the real problem was the parking situation. The first time we met the owner, it felt like she was in a hurry ( works in a hotel two houses down the road), wasn’t amused to show us the house. She came out of the door from the hotel, handed out the keys and pointed out the house in distance. For her the most important thing was that we have to spend the tourist fee. In the end she explained that it is not allowed to park in front of the garage/entrance of the house because the garage should be in use and the neighbors owned the space in front. Later we talked to the neighbors and they said that we don’t have to worry because the space belongs to our house that we rent. That was confusing… The whole week there was no person who wanted to enter the garage. And we checked every day if the garage handle was used. Nevertheless we received to times a message from the owner that we „ kindly have to remove the car!“ the explanation was again that we would blocked the garage ( that definitely was not in use!) and disturbed the neighbors/ took away their space for their car ( instead their parking space was on the other side). I don’t like being lied to…. and like everyone I wish to have a nice and warm welcome.
