Welcome to the Hamlet, where rustic meets chic mid-century modern at Harveys Lake Poconos! Get ready for the summer fun with this charming cabin that's super close to the lake! An easy 13 minutes from the lake resort where you can swim, kayak and boat. Kayaking is free and we have a dock for guests who bring a motorboat. A short drive finds restaurants, Ricketts Glen waterfalls, outlet shops, skiing, waterpark, beer wine & harvest festivals.
It doesn’t get more ‘cabin’ than this. The cottage is tucked away in a small lake village community, hence "The Hamlet".
This rustic cabin’s interior fits so perfectly with its pine tree woodsy surroundings that it’s hard to imagine anything else being here. With a cozy fireplace and the wooden ceilings and floors, you will feel like you discovered an English cottage!
You’ll feel right at home the moment you walk through the front door, as the living room has been exceptionally designed to feel stylish yet understated, focusing on comfort above all else.
The home is furnished with one queen-size bed in bedroom 1, one full-size memory foam bed in bedroom 2 and one full-sized sleeper sofa in the rear sunroom (a semi-private room not connected to the main living room). (We'll let you draw straws to decide who is sleeping where—ha!) The optimal number of guests would be 1-6 people. But we can definitely fit 8 if you're willing to squeeze and sleep on the mid-century modern couch!
Please keep in mind, it’s a tiny house. So, if space and privacy is important to you, this may not be the best fit.
Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the glasses, cups, mugs, wine glasses, silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch! Or cook on the outdoor grill.
The living room is furnished with a nice flat-screen tv where you'll be able to Netflix and relax with friends and family. Play cards or a board game as well.
In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small, yet important, things like: An iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, bathroom papers, linens and more.
Enjoy a morning coffee with our Kuirig. We provide regular or decaf, so remember to pack your favorite k-cup if you wish!
Enjoy the night with a hot cocoa before settling in.
If TV is not your thing, toast a marshmallow at the firepit!
Guests have full access to the house, grill, patio, fire pit and yard.
Guests have full access to the Sunset Beach Lake Resort where you can swim, picnic, kayak, play in the sand and sunbathe. There are lifeguards on duty. A restroom is on site along with a pavilion with electricity. Resort is seasonal.
Guests have access to free kayaking upon request.
Guest may request dock parking for motorboats.
Reserve free kayaking through the host.
If you wish to bring a boat, you must make the host aware of your intent before booking. The dock has boat size limitations and availability.
