I am retired. I own a 3bedroom, 2 bath, 1200 square foot home in Lakewood, CA. I live there with my 2 rescue dogs and also occasionally foster for some of the local rescues. I don't drink, smoke or party. Occasionally I entertain and have friends over for dinner or a bbq. My room is on the opposite part of the house from the room that is available, so there is alot of privacy for both parties. In addition to the newly furnished room with tv and patio access that is available, there is a remodeled private bathroom. There is also a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee machine and refrigerator for the guests use only. The front and backyard, patio area, bbq and laundry room are the only shared spaces. There's street parking available except on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 until noon when the street sweeper comes.. There is a 10 speed bicycle with a basket or a beach cruiser with a basket, available for guests at an additional charge of $2 per day or $50 per month.
The room has a queen size bed, tv w/cable & dvd, Internet access and WiFi. Wood floors, ceiling fan, foldable work space, closet and keurig coffee machine. French doors open to an enclosed screened in patio, fenced yard and private entrance/exit.
