Cradled in the foothills of the La Sal Mountains, the ranch affords a cool retreat from the summer's heat while offering superb views of southeastern Utah's high desert. Local specialties: peacefully rejuvenating atmosphere, unparalleled views, quiet solitude in busy tourist season.

New hot tub on remodeled deck outside.
The suite has also private entrance; bedroom, bathroom, washer and dryer, living room, microwave and fridge; and sleeps 2 people comfortably (2 more on sleeper sofa) and can be rented with the house for an extra charge (please check with me).

Summary: I can't imagine a better location, so close to the rock formations of this area, plus the snow covered La Sal mountains. You are surrounded by beauty from the house windows and porches. Overall the house was clean and very comfortable, with everything you will need from the kitchen, to towels, sheets etc. It was nice to have a washer and dryer available, as well as WiFi and DISH TV. The master bed and bath is very private on the main floor, with the other guest rooms upstairs. Marta is super to work with. She was helpful and informative about the area and any other needs. As a bonus, there are two restaurants within a few miles of the property. One was very high end, but a beautiful property - Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa, delicious food and locally sourced. The other was Red Cliff's Lodge, more reasonable, good food, cowboy and movie museum and Castle Creek Winery. I rented for the month of March 2018 and overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing experience. Perfect spot for a base to go hiking, biking, rafting, etc. Also, was perfect place to have my dog. Fenced in yard area when needed and nice lawn area to just hang out. I would definitely rent this property again, if the opportunity arises.
