Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good value for money. Wonderful huge garden (you can see iguanas and even toucans) and chill area with hammocks. Close to the market and near the bus stops for tourist shuttles from Guatemala to Caye Caulker. Part of San Ignacio lies on a hill so if your guest house is in that part you need to walk up a steep hill to get “home”. There’s no hill between Mana Kai and the center, so easy to walk even when it’s hot.

Negative: No breakfast but there is a small outdoor kitchen and fridge, and a very good French bakery less than 5 min away.

Summary: A green haven close to the center of San Ignacio.
