There are cross-country ski trails right by the cabin and it is only a short walk to Mødalstrekket. Just a short drive away are the spectacular Steindalsfossen and Norheimsund on the Hardangerfjord. In Norheimsund you will find restaurants, stores and a beautiful sandy beach. The cabin is a very good starting point for excursions along the Hardangerfjord on national tourist routes and the opportunity for metropolitan experiences in Bergen.
