All of these are located minutes from the Resort and are spectacular.
Also, public beaches like Carolina, Luquillo or Seven Seas in Fajardo, are great with calmer waters, showers, bathrooms and parking. On the South Playa Santa in Guánica, Buyé in Cabo Rojo, Combate in Cabo Rojo or a day at Caja de Muertos from Ponce (there is a private boat that takes you there for the day). Also, you can check daily snorkeling trips from Fajardo to Culebra or Icacos.
Also you can spend a day at ElYunque, Old San Juan, kayak o paddle board at the Condado Lagoon, drive to Cayey for the pork route to eat roasted pork, arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas) and all the wonderful foods sold at Guavate. You can combine Guavate with a short easy hike at Charco Azul in Patillas. Consider Ponce, or the Camuy Caverns, Toro Verde for zip lining, for a day trip. Also, close by Carabalí for go carts, horseback riding or four tracks. You can eat over Carabali or close by at Don Pepe or at the Luquillo Kiosks.
