The cottage is furnished with charming vintage and antique furniture and offers three bedrooms and one bathroom. Kings Bower has everything that you, your family and friends could wish for in a home away from home. Kings Bower is situated in amongst established gardens and backs onto a mountain stream. Sit and enjoy the elevated back deck and observe a postcard array of Australian parrots. With patience you may have an encounter with our namesake, the regal King Parrot as well as Crimson Rosellas, Cockatoos and Lorikeets. A Superb Lyrebird inhabits the glen behind the property and those with keen ears might be able to identify his cheeky imitation of local birds including the laughing Kookaburra, Magpie and Eastern Whip Bird. Once the sun has set you may be lucky enough to spot George the brush tail possum or Ringo the ringtail possum who can be enticed to the window with an offering of apple.
A visit at Kings Bower is a truly Australian experience and we look forward to welcoming you to our cottage. The Katoomba Train Station is approximately 1.5 km away with a taxi stand out the front. There are also tour buses and local buses available.
