Positive: The great thing about IBIS hotels is that you always know what to expect: basic but comfortable. Excellent value for money. In Sion, too, our expectations were met: young and very courteous staff, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot and powerful showers. The bar serves good draft beer, and for those who are hungry, there is an evening restaurant service with a daily menu. A short walk away is the shopping center with shops, Migros and Dennner supermarkets, and cafeterias. Very close to the highway exit, convenient and quiet. There are numerous parking spaces reserved for hotel guests (for a fee, 10CHF) around the property. 10 out of 10, I will gladly return! One note: breakfast could be improved. Both in terms of quality and quantity.

Negative: One note: breakfast is rather sparse. By 7:30 a.m., there is nothing left, and the restocking service is not as efficient as one would expect in Switzerland. Yogurt is only available in bulk; there is no packaged yogurt.

Summary: Excellent value for money: that's IBIS. Even in Sion my expectations were met! Very courteous staff!
