Positive: It's a beautiful romantic place in Rio Dulce. It's not reachable by road, instead you need to get a shuttle (una lancha) from and back to the town of Rio Dulce. Generously the first pick-up and the ride back to town on the date of check-out are free, on other days it'd cost 25Q. The food in the restaurant is high quality, delicious and freshly prepared, and the cocktails are amazing!! The music in the common area was always super nice!

Negative: There wasn't a kitchen for guests and not even a fridge. You need to pay for drinking water, too. Keep that in mind if you're travelling on a budget, since there's no way to store and prepare you own food. That can add a lot to your daily budget! Since this wonderful place is literally in a jungle, a lot of insects are around. We discovered some not so small spiders during our stay. Depends on you, if you can deal with it, otherwise seek help from the staff or hide under your mosquito net, haha 😄
