Positive: It's a very nice location. A lot of places to see for such a small village. Lots of hiking trails, caves, view points, old abandoned train station, a river pass.

Negative: The staff was really unwelcoming, very unflexible around our check-in and check-out times. This village is on the middle of nowhere. You have to account for the people coming from big cities with a car. We were basically ordered to arrive at a certain time by the host, with absolute disregard to what I have said about traffic jams and roadworks around Berlin. Check-out experience was even worse. When we asked if we can leave later than 10 am, the hostess refused immediately without giving any readons. 'My hands are tied'. We were there for a weekend only and we wanted to get the most out of it. So we packed our things into the car and went exploring the town. I wrote to the hostess that we left, as we agreed, on watsapp, and I got passive agressive message that I didn't tell her anything and that we have to take away the car. That was absolutely confusing and rude. Unless the hosts change their attitude towards guests, I don't recommend staying in this house.
