Positive: Lovely spacious apartment that I indulgently booked for myself while my Mother was staying next door at the hotel Illa d’Or. Couldn’t have been closer to each other- perfecto! Obviously I had way more space than I needed, but the apartment would easily have fitted 4 adults and 2 children, or even 6 adults who were happy to share 2 bathrooms. Lovely big wrap around terrace/balcony which overlooks the ‘Pine Walk’ and the sea front - and gets both sun and shade during the day. The apartment contained everything you could need to cater for a big group, and more. The interior was lovely and cool, and I didn’t even need to use the aircon all week. Laura and Kelly were both super helpful with anything I needed, and the bonus was them ordering their faithful and ‘uber’ reliable taxi driver Lorenzo to drive me to and from the airport - an immensely charming spaniard who has lived on the island for 40 years+, with a wealth of knowledge and stories to share! He will bend your ear off! Don’t forget to order the salted seabass at La Terassa restaurant at Hotel Illa d’Or next door for an unforgettably delicious meal. 2 persons minimum.

Negative: All was really very good. Little to quibble about. They could invest in some new key chains for the door keys, both of which were falling apart! And perhaps newer bath towels would have been nice, but I really couldn’t complain.

Summary: Magnifico!
