Positive: On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the room itself was spacious. We also really enjoyed the spa area when we had the chance to use it. Additionally, the complimentary mulled wine offered at check-in was a very nice touch.

Negative: We were disappointed by several aspects of our stay. At check-in, the receptionist did not provide any information about the hotel’s facilities — no mention of the spa, its opening hours, the breakfast times, the gym, or anything else. As a result, after dinner we planned to visit the spa, only to discover that it closed at 21:00. Had we been informed at check-in, we would have organised our evening differently. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities such as a coffee machine, instant coffee, or even an electric kettle for tea. These are simple features commonly available even in lower-category hotels. We also found it disappointing that after each daily room cleaning, no complimentary water bottles were replenished. For a room costing €400 per night, providing two small bottles of water is a minimal courtesy. Instead, the only available bottle was in the minibar at a price of €6. Lastly, upon check-out, the receptionist asked whether everything had been fine during our stay. When I replied that some things could definitely be improved, he completely ignored my comment and immediately asked how I wished to pay the city tax. It was very clear that he had asked the question only because he had been instructed to do so, without any intention of actually listening to the feedback. If the hotel had been in a lower price range, our expectations would naturally be different. However, for a premium 5-star hotel, we expect significantly higher standards of service.
