Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location was good, opposite to a beautiful park, close to tram, bus, trolley stops and 10 min walking from the old town. Also, malls, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, bars and the train station all within 2 to 15 min walking. The apartment is small but it has all the amenities; a washing machine, stove, coffee machine, cutleries and all the basic tableware for cooking and eating, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, hot water available 24/7, free wifi and a smart TV. It was very clean and there was dish soap available in the kitchen, a hand soap in the bathroom, a broom and a drying rack. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and bed linen and towels were provided. Water pressure in the bathroom was really good and the washing machine was brand new, working perfectly. Even though the apartment is on a central road, it is quiet since it is facing the inner yard. Communication with host was good and is a self check in process with code system.

Negative: There is a lift in the building and even though the rest of the building seems like it was renovated, the lift and the stairs were not. It is a very old wooden lift, scary to use, as it feels dangerous but since the apartment was on the 4th floor it's impossible not to use it especially when carrying up or down your luggage. Also, during my stay there, it was out of order for 3 days. In addition, I assume the water piping is really old as well as I would get a weird smell every time I was entering the apartment after being out for hours. Some decoration elements on walls would be nice and providing shower gel/shampoo or extra toilet paper for longer stays.
