Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was a cute, comfy little place with a mountain atmosphere. The staff was kind and friendly, despite a couple of communication struggles due to Google Translate not always doing great between Japanese and English. The name of the hotel is Anglers Base, which we didn't know until we got there because the name on booking.com is in Japanese. Hope that is helpful to someone.

Negative: It was unclear where to check in. Luckily, we saw someone, and they pointed us in the direction of the store next to the hotel, also called Angler's Base. It wasn't a big deal, but maybe a sign near the hotel entrance that specified where to check in would be helpful for some guests. The hotel was very clean, but there were few cobwebs in the rafters that could use a dusting (which I'm hyper aware of being terrified of spiders). Otherwise, there were no cleanliness issues.
