A highlight is the impressive Certosa di Calci, a 14th-century Carthusian monastery that now houses the Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa. Wine lovers can visit the nearby Fattoria San Vito for tastings of their wines and olive oil. Fico is also ideally located for day trips: Pisa is only 14 km away, Lucca just 25 km, the coast about 40 minutes by car, and even Florence is within easy reach at 80 km.

Please note: The access road to the property is paved. However, the final 100 to 500 metres (after the gate) is a steep gravel road with a very tight bend.
