Our villa is located at 80 metres from the beach and the Marine Park of Blue Bay. A small path from the villa will take you to the park that will dazzle you and invite you to explore it.
It has an area of 210m2; the 400m2 garden is beautiful and is planted with fruit and coconut trees. The villa is located southeast of the island and it is ideal for a couple or a family of 6. It is fully equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated, as well as built with character. You can stay here pleased while sunbathing around the pool or under the shade of the plants and the trees.
Our warm welcome will make you feel at home. You will be guided and advised about trips you can do around the island.
A maid will provide daily room service of three hours at the villa and will be at your service to cook typical Mauritian meals upon request only.
The villa is located at 5km from the southern highway that will take you around the island from visits to he most famous sites. At 200 metres from Blue Bay there is a public beach where you can find a bus and taxi stop where you can get transport to go to Mahebourg and other places around the island.
The villa is at 6km from the historical and tourist village of Mahebourg, where you can walk around, visit the shops and the market where you will be able to find handcrafts.
Do not forget to go the historical museum of Mahebourg where you will learn more about the naval battle of Grand Port of 1810 when the French defaeted the English invaders who wanted to conquer the island. This battle lasted 72 hours and it has been immortalized on the west facade of the Arc de Triumph in Paris.
The south-eastern region opens on a vast lagoon where it is nice to take boat rides of all kinds, do no forget the famous “Pirogue” or the variety of water sports at your disposal. There are many options for going on excursions.
The restaurants at Mahebourg like the ones at Pointe D’Esny offer typical Mauritian meals like seafood.
The biscuit shop of the Rault Family is there since 1870 and produces cassava crackers with flavors like chocolate, butter and coconut. It’s great to go there and explore this small company where they use the old techniques.
