You will be in love from the moment you walk in and gaze down the hall through the huge glass doors directly to the lake!

Those who have stayed here have described it as magical, heavenly, and like being on a boat. With over 2,500 square feet, 3-bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths on the 2nd floor, and room for 5 kids on the 3rd floor, this beautiful home is where you and your family will want to spend every minute of your family vacation.
Remodeled by an architect in 2005, what was once a building that housed the manufacturing of thirteen fire engines and later a welding shop, is now a spectacular remodeled masterpiece that literally sits in the lake, with only the entry wall on the ground! There is a small public beach on one side (great for the kids) and a park with a rock edge on the other. One side has deep water and the other shallow.
The house is a large duplex with Eagle’s View on the top and Loon’s Call on the bottom. Loon’s Call is occupied by the homeowner during the summer months, but available for rent during the remaining year. Both units have separated entries and can be rented independently of each other or together to host your large family gathering.
Centrally located in the heart of the Damariscotta Mills, Loon’s Call and Eagle’s View offer on the water entertainment, in house comfort and relaxation. It is a quick and an easy drive to downtown Damariscotta where you will find fabulous restaurants and several boutiques.

• Sit on the dock to watch the sun set or the evening stars
• Take the kayaks or canoe to explore the lake or possibly enjoy a lake
cruise with owners, Charlie and Barbara on their boat.

The area is a popular summer hang out for swimmers and families. The one-way street is a great place to go for a stroll to appreciate the lush landscape, alewives’ ladder, and colonial buildings in this historic village.
The bedrooms include (1) King sized; (2) Queen sized (3) Twin sized beds or queen, if you prefer. the 3rd
floor has cubbies for 3 more beds and a double futon. Dining table seats 8. There is a very spacious living and dining room area with a very functional galley kitchen. Unique architectural design allows air to circulate and light to fill the rooms. Living Room has a large smart TV. Wireless internet provided. House is well stocked with games and books for your leisure time. There are views of the water on every side!
guests have separate entrances and have access to canoe and kayaks. There is a common area where the paddles and life jackets are stored, both units have access to this space. There are 4 free off street parking places available for quests vehicles.
During the summer months, homeowners Barbara and Charlie reside downstairs in the Loon's Call. They enjoy meeting guests and offering a lake tour on their boat. If you prefer less interaction homeowners will respect your space.
Damariscotta Mills is a historic little community on the outskirts of Newcastle and Damariscotta. It is adorned with historic architecture and the iconic Alewives fish ladder. There is a one way road and the speed limit is 15 MPH in front of the house. The area is a popular swimming destination for kids and adults that enjoy jumping off the bridge or splashing on the beach.
Although there are plenty of great walks from the property, a vehicle is recommended to explore Damariscotta (3 miles) and the neighboring towns. Boothbay Harbor is about 25 miles south where you can spend a day on the ocean, walking or shopping.
Guest must sign a liability waiver to use water equipment and must wear a life jacket per Maine state law. Children must be monitored and equipment put back into proper place when finished using
